When the one you've always wanted . . .
At sixteen, Annabelle Morgan hoped her crush on Jake Wilder was just a passing phase. Now she's twenty-nine and nothing has changed—except Jake. The once-carefree Marine has come home with a giant chip on his shoulder. He insists a single mom like Annie deserves more than he can offer. Yet no matter how gruff his gorgeous exterior may be, Jake's toe-curling kisses convince her that this attraction is definitely mutual.
Becomes the one who wants you back . . .
Butting heads with feisty Annie was always a thrill. Add other body parts to the mix, and Jake is in serious trouble. He can't be a forever-and-family guy—and Annie's not a friends-with-benefits kind of woman. But love has a way of changing the best-laid plans, and surrender has never been so tempting . . .
The outcome is truly sweet.

I have become a huge fan of Candis Terry’s Sweet, Texas series. The final book, Truly Sweet was the perfect ending to the series. Ms. Terry did a beautiful job of wrapping up the series. Jake and Annie quickly won me over. I loved that Truly Sweet dealt with survivor’s guilt, family, friendships, love from afar, and forgiveness.
The dialogue was rich and meaningful to the point that it pulled on all my heartstrings and left me smiling like a loon. The passion between Jake and Annie was hot and swoon-worthy. In addition, the camaraderie between the family members, Annie and Jake warmed my heart and made me want more. The surprises that Ms. Terry incorporated into Truly Sweet will make you smile and bring a few tears to your eyes.
If you haven’t picked up Candis Terry’s Sweet, Texas series then you’re definitely missing out. This is a feel good series that will make you laugh, cry and swoon.
