Single dad.
Firefighter.
Hero.

On the heels of divorce, Lt. Brett Cash never expected to meet the woman of his dreams. Especially not during a robbery gone bad.

But just because she's the woman of his dreams does not mean he's the man of hers.

Emma is a child of a 9/11 hero taken far too soon. And she's not about to let her own daughter go through the same hell she did.

Not even for ... well, let's face it--the man of her dreams. The last thing Emma Lockhart needs, or wants, is a hero.

KAT’S REVIEW:

Wowza! Engulfing Emma was a combination of sweet and sexy that left me a little light-headed. Brett Cash is the MAN. He’s a single dad with an ex-wife from Hell, but that doesn’t stop him from being kindhearted and fierce when it comes to Emma. The man is the full package in my book. I loved his attention to detail, especially when it came to Emma and what she needed. His love for his son and the rest of his family was heartwarming. He’s fearlessness when it came to doing his job and saving not only the people he cared about, but also a stranger was inspiring. I couldn’t get enough of him.

Emma was broken in some ways and confused about what she really wanted in life. There were times that she frustrated me, but there were also times that my heart broke for everything that she’d endured over the years. Samantha Christy does a beautiful job of giving the reader insight into what might have happened to the children who lost parents in 911. It’s intense, passionate, and all inspiring. The reader is allowed to experience their fears, their heartache, and their triumphs. By the end of Engulfing Emma, you’ll be rooting for this couple to find their happily ever after.

The sex was hot enough to start a five-alarm fire. Between Brett’s determination to ravish every inch of Emma’s body and his dirty talk, I couldn’t get enough. Ms. Christy developed sex scenes that made me think of a Lay’s potato chip. You can’t just eat one. The longer the story progressed, the more I hungered for more. More of Brett. More of Emma. More sex. More of the firefighters. More of the children, and more of the story. It was absolutely amazing. I hope there’s more in this series because I for one would love to know Justin’s story.
