In addition to English, she is fluent in three other languages, hence, her passion for traveling. But she has other passions as well. A.J. is a voracious reader and enjoys reading erotic romance, anything paranormal, fantasy, and historical. When she's not reading or traveling, she spends time with her friends and family. She enjoys cooking, crocheting, movies, playing volleyball and tennis, relaxing outdoors, and music. At one time, she was a part-time DJ for country western station. A.J. often over multi-tasks if there is such a thing and her friends have a tendency to consider her a perfectionist. Currently, she is trying her hand at writing erotic romance. ![]() Co-owner/Hostess As co-owner and hostess of The Blackraven's Erotic Cafe and Blackraven's Reviews, there are times when I'm one busy woman. I love books of all genres, especially erotic romance, highlanders, cowboys, and of course, paranormal. In fact, I was probably a vampire in another lifetime since I find them so sexy. I hope you enjoy my reviews, as well as my bantering with Kat from time to time even though she hasn't been around in a while. But don't fret, she'll be back soon. I know you're going to love the addition to our review staff and can't wait to see what these ladies come up with for you to sink your teeth into. With that said...I'd like to welcome all of the new Divas to Blackraven's Reviews. Oh, did I forget to mention that from time to time, I'll be dropping by Dark Diva Reviews as a guest, so check me out and hear me roar. God, I've always wanted to say that....the hear me roar part. LOL! Take care!
Kat
Hostess of The KatsMeow Hello everyone! My name is Kat and I'm here to share with you one of my ultimate passions...books! I love the adventure of finding new authors to read and them sweeping me to a new place for a few days. My hope is to share with you some of my favorite reads and maybe introduce you to some new authors. I'm in my glory 40s, live in Texas and adore cats. Which make others wonder why I own a dog and not any cats???!! But that's is a whole other blog post. LOL! So, sit back and enjoy the bantering between me and The Blackraven. Maybe we need to visit Dr. Raven for a session or two....hmmm....food for thought.
Lace
Submissions/Review Coordinator Hey peeps, Lace here, I wanted to give you the 411 on me. *grins* I am married to a deliciously handsome man and mom to two amazing kidlets. I am just in lust with reading. When a scene steals my breath, I know it is going to be worth the read.. I am going to enjoy reviewing books for Blackraven’s Reviews, and letting you all know what to expect from a book. I hope to see you around.
Ashley
My name is Ashley. I'm married with two kids who are old enough to roll their eyes when I read my romance books. My husband just wants my "insider secrets", but shouldn't I make him work for them (lol)?! My parents...they just don't understand! I just don't pay any attention because, really, when have I EVER listened to them? (lol) I'm still a young 'un at heart, even though I'm not too far from the grandchildren faze of my life. (Hey, I had my kids REALLY, REALLY young~lol)! Reading erotic romance is what I love and I cheat myself out of sleep just to keep reading. I'll be more than happy to give everyone my thoughts and recommendations. Happy Reading to All!
Barb Manning
I am an avid reader. I read all types of books from all genres, whatever sounds interesting or intriguing. I always read romance novels, particularly historicals of the bodice-ripping variety. At some point, I ventured into reading erotic novels about men and women, and then men and men. After reading so many erotic novels some good and bad, I decided to try my hand at reviewing them. I certainly know what makes for a smoking-hot read! If you want to see some of my other reviews, please visit Creative Ink Romance Reviews. You can see my design work at Creative Ink Design.
Justine
My name is Justine. I'm a wife and mother of 3. I began blogging and reviewing books a few weeks ago as an outlet for my boredom and monotony of my days. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis, which prevents me from working a normal 9-5. I love reading and I thought doing a blog would give back to authors who have not only helped me personally but to all authors struggling to get known.
Honey
Hi all. My name is Honey, and I have been reading as long as I can remember. I love romance novels best of all and have a very extensive library that drives my husband crazy to no ends. Being able to fall in love over and over again is my favorite part about reading romance. I always have a book with me, or my kindle, or my kindle for PC (which also drives my hubby nuts). I am excited to be a part of Blackraven Reviews and can't wait to get my hands on some more great books.
K.W.
Hi everyone, I'm K.W. I am thrilled to be here! I started reading hot and heavy when I received my first Kindle and I haven't stopped. I started with mysteries and along the way moved on to erotic romances and I've never gone back. How a relationship starts, the turmoil in the middle (along with some hot scenes of course) and what happens in the end is what does it for me. I find that I am a little bit of a sap too because I love a happy ending. I live in Atlanta and I am married to a great man (aka...Mr. Wonderful) with 3 children. They keep me busy but I wouldn't have it any other way. I have a full time job that I love and find very rewarding. As far as particular genres, I don't have a favorite because I enjoy reading them all. I can also admit without embarrassment that I have learned a wealth of information from reading erotica that my hubby is very happy about :-))). I am so happy to be here and I am honored to be a Raven.
Layne
Layne is a book addict with a voracious appetite for anything romance. Though she also writes erotic romance, reading remains her first love. She's a sucker for a tough heroine with killer heels and a softness for Alpha males, and recently discovered a brand new distraction: well-written M/M romance laden with angst and conflict. Layne resides in the New York area with a much-neglected Spousal Equivalent and 6 y/o daughter.
Naunet
Hello Everyone, I am Naunet an avid reader of all formats and all genres except horror. As a child, I read every Nancy Drew book hence, my love for mysteries. I use to consider it a sin leaving a bookstore or library without a book. Then, I received a Kindle 3G WiFi as a gift! OMG, I am truly addicted and can't leave home without it. My literary taste ranges from mainstream fiction to hot, steamy erotica, paranormal romances, shape-shifters romance, erotica, menage, older women/younger men (must the cougar side coming out :big grin) and suspense have been the reason for many sleepless nights. When I am not searching my favorite sites for books to download on the Kindle; baking, cross stitching and listening to smooth jazz are a few of my other obsessions.
Sam
Hello fellow romance readers, I just want to roll my "R"'s when I say that. As most of you know I am married to a Raven. Even though we are a team sometimes our ideas on books do not mesh. I enjoy many aspects to reading with my wife, but I enjoy reading on my own as well. The intensity, passion and a great follow through can create a book worth reading over and over again. Yes, I have an addiction, and I hope there is never a cure. What would my life be without a great book to enjoy.
Tamara
Tamara is the slightly naughty alter-ego, of erotic author Dakota Trace. She's a simple Midwest girl, who has found her passion in storytelling at a young age. She wrote her first novel her freshman year about a girl who could speak to animals on an old electric IBM typewriter and never looked back. Writing in several different genres, she is now a published author with multiple books under her belt. When Dakota isn't writing, she's a crazy mom of three wild Indians who are posing as children, a loving wife to the man of her dreams and a full time student. To find out more about Dakota visit her at dakotatrace.com
Tasha
I'm a country girl at heart although I now call the city home. I read all genres of romance, the steamier the better. My love for reading began at a very young age, and the only time I ever remember not reading is in college. That was because I was being forced to read things I didn't want to read. My idea of entertainment is curling up on the couch with a good book, much to the consternation of my single friends.
That 70s Chick
I like to consider myself a professional daydreamer, modern-day hippie, and serious bibliophile. I'm a single mother of five girls (two teens, 1 tween, 1 old soul, and a self-proclaimed princess). I have always loved to read and have a fascination with the written word itself. It's been a dream of mine to be a published author one day but I spend more time reading than writing. I enjoy all genres but my favorites are historical romances, urban fantasy and horror. Reading is the cheapest vacation I can think of and it allows me to escape into another time and place. I am currently involved in relationships with several fictional characters and find myself quite annoyed when real life interferes with my reading.
Trixie
I am Trixie, a lover of erotica and romance fiction. I enjoy reading all kinds of stories, but love the ones where the characters come to life! Originally from the south, I now make my home in Southern California where I can always be found with a book in my hand or on my phone. My muse and I have 3 pretty much grown kids and still enjoy being with each other! Like the song says, I ain't never had too much fun! . |
