Maggie is on the run from those who killed her husband nine months ago. She knows the only one who can help her is Rocco, a grizzly shifter she knew in her youth. She arrives on his doorstep in labor with twins. Magical, shapeshifting, bear cub twins destined to lead the next generation of werecreatures in North America.

Rocky absented himself from her life when she chose to marry his childhood friend, but the years haven’t changed the way he feels for her.

And now there are two young lives to protect. Rocky will do everything in his power to end the threat to the small family and claim them for himself. He knows he is the perfect Alpha to teach the cubs as they grow into their power… if their mother will let him love her as he has always longed to do.

Lea’s Review:

The Purrfect Stranger is a wonderful Valentine’s Day story! With sexy characters and an easy-going, interesting plot, Bianca D’Arc gives readers a fun, romantic romp with witches, werecats, familiars and love.

Valerie and Keith each have preconceived notions about the race of the other. She is a witch, although her powers are so insignificant that she has never been valued by her immediate family. Keith is a werecougar who has always had to hide some of his gifts and talents in order to be accepted by his kin. They meet on a blind date, work past their prejudices, and as things escalate through dinner, they each become more and more determined they should spend Valentine’s night together.

The little extras Bianca D’Arc added to The Purrfect Stranger take the story up a notch in terms of both interest level and enjoyment. Valerie’s cat and kittens, the special thing about the doors, as well as all the other interesting glimpses into Valerie’s life and home are great fun to discover. The synchronicity of all the ways the lovers’ lives have touched, or nearly touched, over the years without either of them having a clue, also takes things up little by little until you assume you have a pretty good idea where things are going. But shockingly, the next morning, the bottom falls out. And, yes, I am going to leave you right there.

Trust me when I say The Purrfect Stranger is fun, the characters are sexy, the cats are awesome and the ending is terrific. This is a good HEA story; why not go buy it and give yourself a little paranormal treat for Valentine’s Day?
