Ménage Amour: Erotic Consensual BDSM Ménage a Trois Romance, M/F/M, spanking, fisting, sex toys, HEA

In the heat of passion, Peter tricks Jillian into making a promise to participate in a week of sexual adventure with him and his best friend, Sean. Jillian has been very attracted to both men for a long time but questions the propriety of such a relationship and also wonders how two gorgeous men could be so attracted to her.

Peter and Sean want far more than just sex with Jillian. They want her with them forever, and are determined to persuade her to keep the promise she made. A careless action, also made in the heat of passion, will take the final decision out of all of their hands and decide the future for them all.

Note: There is no sexual relationship or touching for titillation between or among the men.

A Siren Erotic Romance

Lace’s Review:

The Promise by Allyson Young was a hot BDSM with ultra-sexy scenes and a few tender moments. Unfortunately, that is where the book stopped for me.

The characters, Sean/Julia/Peter, work well together as a threesome and it’s obvious that their heart is in it, but truly that is all I got from them. Their character development faltered in regards to depth. I would have liked to know more about their backgrounds.

In addition, there were no secondary characters to aid in making the heroes and heroine roles more developed to help fill in the blank spots that I felt as I was reading. I would have also liked a strong plot. You get that there are feelings and sex, but I would had liked more than just sexy scenes because I think these characters have a lot more to offer.

While The Promise didn’t necessarily work for me, it doesn’t mean that it’s not an enjoyable book. If you enjoy a menage story that has wonderful sex scenes combined with several tender moments, then I recommend that you check Allyson Young’s The Promise.

Author Review: The Promise by Tory Richards

The Promise by Tory Richards
Publisher: Liquid Silver Books
Genre: Erotic Romance, Contemporary
Word Count: 44870

Summary:

Shannon Hayes’ husband David was killed in Iraq nearly a year ago, and now she must face her first holiday season without him. With a toddler in tow, she travels to the Vermont farm where the rest of the family has gathered for the holidays. There she comes face to face with the man who was with him when he died, and her destiny, his older brother Ryan.

For the first time in years, Ryan returns home to keep a promise he made to David—to take care of Shannon and their daughter. It’s a pledge Ryan is reluctant to keep because he’s been secretly in love with Shannon since first setting eyes on her. Their attraction to each other is instant, intense and soon the promise isn’t the only thing between them.

Lena’s Review:

Move on… Two words that mean so much yet bring pain and heartache for widow, Shannon Hayes.

The reality of never seeing her husband again is too much. She knows David wanted her to move on but the love she has for him is still there. This year it is another man that is making her feel something that has been gone for so long. Shannon knows it is wrong but something about being in Ryan’s arms feels so right.

Ryan has not been home for a long time and that is because of Shannon. He knows that once he sees her the passion he feels for her will come back again. His promise to David is looking harder than ever to fulfill for he is afraid of what might happen when he is with Shannon again. For years he’s desired Shannon but she belonged to his brother. The guilt that Ryan has is so much for one man to deal with yet Shannon is a special woman that can conquer anything.

Tory Richards has created a tale of heartache, passion, and love yet a chance for a brother to love again. Tory Richards has outdone herself in this romance. It is easy to root for Ryan, a soldier who has always been strong yet has a weakness for Shannon. Loved this book and definitely highly recommended for once again Tory Richards shows us she can create a story that easily comes to life.
