Two Lairds One Lady by John C Ryan
Publisher: Whisper Publishing
Genre: Historical, Romance, Medieval Scotland, Erotic Romance, Menage
Length: 467 pages

Summary:
Two Lairds, One Lady, a single betrothal. Things are about to get interesting.
The exquisitely beautiful, fiery Elspeth Mourney has been pledged in marriage to the arrogant, impossibly handsome Highland Knight, Sir Thayer Mac Court by her father, the Laird of Lothian. By proposing the marriage of his beloved only daughter to Thayer, the eldest son of his most bitter rival, the Earl has secured a tentative truce. But Elspeth vehemently opposes the match, having unceremoniously chanced upon Thayer six years earlier. That fateful first encounter culminated in a stolen kiss-and disaster!
Yet, as their destinies collide, they chance upon a common bond, a fiercely guarded secret shared by both of their clans. Will this mystery that binds the fates of their families to the very survival of Scotland save their love and ensure the future of their people-or doom them all?
Trixie’s Review:
Set in Scotland during a time of constant warring, Two Lairds One Lady by John C. Ryan has an intriguing storyline. Needing to strengthen the clans of the Mourney and Mac Court families, a deal is struck. Problem is, one of the families has twin sons, with the eldest being a lady’s man to the nth degree. Thayer has spent his whole life fighting on the battlefield and seducing women on the playing field. He is not about to stop now, deal or no deal. Good thing he has a twin brother.
Elspeth appears at first to be a really strong character with great intuition, love for her family and animals, and acquiesces to her father’s wishes. Her character changes once there is a need for her to spend quite a bit of time with Thayer after an enemy attack. She loses her strength and turns into a sappy, love sick adolescent by her dialogue and actions.
Intriguing beginning, drawn out middle, but interesting finale that really ended 20 pages or so before the actual ending. A bit more fine tuning would have made this book a wonderful historical tale.

[#267 Siren Ménage Everlasting: Erotic Cowboy Ménage a Quatre Romance, M/F/M/M]

Grace learns what it means to be desired, pursued, and protected by three gorgeous men, finding that they will do anything to please her along the way.
Can they prove to Grace they want forever and not just a fling? Can Grace heed the advice of her sister and seize the day?
Note: This is an epic-length novel at 200,000 words.
Lace’s Review:
Heather Rainier’s Divine Grace is a heart stopping menage that has so much more going for it then the hot monkey sex scenes.
Meet Jack, a contractor by trade and a cowboy by heart. He is one sweet love that had my heart melting. His bedside manner is awesome and his kisses are hot.
Meet Ethan, the owner of the Dancing Pony/Dominate. It totally blew me away that even though his character is labeled a “Dom”, we did not get to see that part of this character much, it was mostly is words.
Meet Adam, a contractor and cowboy with the tendency to be a big ole teddy bear. Bigger than Jack or Ethan, this gentle giant grabbed my attention more than the others. His gentleness, along with his true nature is a good buffer between all of them.
Meet the princess of the ball Grace, who is one amazing heroine, and boy does this lady know how to clean house. LOL! I adore her shyness and her ability to accept what she wanted from her men.
Ms. Rainier, I will admit that there is a downer part to this amazing book for me and that’s because I felt there needed to be more “Jack & Grace” moments. He is so giving. The big question is will this quartet be accepted, or will they be shunned by their own town people? Come and visit Divine Grace to find out.
The secondary characters only added sparkle to this already sinfully delicious read. Lord, I was scrambling to keep up with all the things going on. Add an amazing plot line, include hot sex, stellar characters, biaches with guns and an ex who has no clue at all and you have the makings of one amazing read in Divine Grace. Ms. Rainier Rocked!

The Sex by Laura Tolomei
Series: The Virtus Saga, Book One
Publisher: eXtasy Books
Genre: Dark Urban Fantasy, Erotic Romance, M/M/F, M/F, M/M, Menage a Trois
Length: 246 pages

Summary:
If Sendar stood a chance, perhaps it would be thanks to the arbitrary twists and turns of a blind destiny. Or maybe someone would discover the truth about the ancient ways and compromise our peaceful existence forever. Either way, people needed a hero to shed new light on the age-old mysteries. And he was just about to answer their prayers.
AJ’s Review:
Ms. Tolomei has penned a riveting story that will take the reader through a myriad of emotions that range from anger to sorrow to unbridled passion. Any book that can accomplish such a feat is FREAK-IN-FANTASTIC in my opinion. The characters are well-developed and three-dimensional, the dialogue is refreshing and bold, the emotions are raw and untamed, the world building is amazing and intriguing, and the sex is explosive and uninhibited. I simply couldn’t get enough of this well-crafted story and read it in one sitting.
Prince Caldwell is sexy, intelligent and at times heartless. His character left me with conflicting emotions. On one hand, he’s kind to Yilanor and it’s obvious that he cares about her. However, just as soon as Chris (a.k.a. Lord Templeton) who is also his lover enters the picture, he treats her inhumanely and I must admit that it pissed me off. I wanted to pummel Prince Caldwell and Lord Templeton on many occasions throughout the book. I don’t know if I would have been as trusting and patient as Yilanor was given her predicament.
Yilanor is a smart, sexy, strong woman with gumption who simply broke my heart. She had endured so much at the hand of other peoples’ jealousy and inability to understand her true nature. I loved how Ms. Tolomei shed more light on her character, especially as the story progressed and the reader was able to gain a better understanding of the trials and tribulations that Yilanor had endured over the years. It was obvious that she loved Prince Caldwell and would do anything for him, even to her own detriment, which was somewhat disconcerting.
It took a lot for me to even begin liking Lord Templeton. Most of the time he’s childish, snide, and simply ruthless when it comes to Yilanor. He takes every opportunity afforded him to make her feel like dirt and for that I wanted to smack him upside the head. While Ms. Tolomei shedded more light on Chris’ psyche, it still didn’t justify his poor pissed behavior. In fact, there was a point in the book that he kept using his past to justify his poor behavior which was unacceptable in my book.
All feelings aside, these three are destined to be together in one way or another and that’s where the suspense begins for me. Although Ms. Tolomei provides a few clues throughout the book, she leaves more questions than answers in her wake as Prince Caldwell, Lord Templeton, and Yilanor travel to The Nephis Valley. Ms. Tolomei piqued my curiosity regarding Yilanor, Prince Caldwell, and Lord Templeton’s Virts and the power that is generated from them. I’m curious not only how all of their Virts work, but also how sex seems to feed them, as well as allow them to communicate with one another more freely. Trust me when I say that the sex is hot enough to scorch your eyebrows, which makes The Sex the perfect title for the first book in this amazing series. Yilanor, Prince Caldwell and Lord Templeton’s appetites for sex is voracious and decadent. If the sex scenes don’t melt your panties, then nothing else will.
The secondary characters are just as intriguing as our heroes and heroine. They all have secrets that they’re hiding and I must admit that I can’t wait to see how they all fit into the overall grand scheme of things. Each secondary character is also well-developed and add depth and complexity not only to the plot, but also to the relationship that is forging between our heroes and heroine. The stakes are high and who will come out the winner remains to be seen as Prince Caldwell, Yilanor, and Lord Templeton’s destiny is molded into what it was truly meant to be. Will this dynamic trio embrace their destiny or will the past and jealousy keep them off-course; thereby, destroying any future that they might ever have, which could possibly be strong enough to span the test of time.
The Sex is dark, edgy, and raw, especially when it comes to our heroes and heroine’s emotions and sexual proclivities. Laura Tolomei has crafted an amazing dark, urban fantasy with engaging characters who are so flawed and full of anger, as well as unrequited lust and passion that it’s amazing they haven’t killed one another either literally or through their bouts of sexacapdes. The plot is well-developed, the emotions are intense and raw, and the sex scenes are uninhibited and full of passionate lust that will draw the reader into their web decadent pleasures with the turn of every page. What an amazing group of characters who simply leap off the pages to bring this tantalizing story to life. Bravo Ms. Tolomei, as you’ve hit the ball out of the park with The Sex, the first book in The Virtus Saga series. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

Amanda Sloane’s passion has been solely focused on becoming a well-respected, NYC art appraiser. With that appetite sated, she can no longer ignore her body’s carnal desires.
Tasked with authenticating an uncataloged Randell painting that could be worth millions, she meets a trio of Texas ranch hands who take her on an erotic ride imagined only in her deepest fantasy. Awakening the big city vixen’s sexual hunger has his body ablaze with need and his heart yearning for love.
Can Amanda give up the intoxicating pleasure of her sexual awakening? Or is Jake’s love unconditional enough to encourage her to continue her erotic odyssey?
This title contains: explicit language, anal sex, ménage a trios (m/f/m), and voyeurism.
Trixie’s Review:
Yeehawwwwwww! Those literally were the first words that came to mind as I read One Hard Ride by M.M. Bordeaux. Wild sex and passionate characters, mixed with an intriguing plot definitely lead to one hard ride! Amanda’s opportunity to go to Texas presents more than just a job. A total awakening of hidden passion is uncovered and like the saying goes, once it has been unleashed, there is no turning back!
From her first moment on the Morgan Ranch, Amanda is exposed to not only a stallion mating with his mare, but watching ranch hands get it on, turns her into a wild and wanton woman. Menage, anal, and downright lust await her as she uses her knowledge in the art and antiquities world to determine if the artifacts Justin and Jake have are worth the evil cousin that is trying to destroy everything they own.

Double Bang! by KyAnn Waters and Tarah Scott
Publisher: The Wild Rose Press
Genre: Erotic Contemporary Romance, Menage
Length: 30 pages

Summary:
Sara Martin has a problem. And it’s not the attraction she has for her co-worker Devon Curran…or the lust she feels for her sexy neighbor, Rigg.
Suddenly Devon doesn’t look happy. And that is a gun in his pocket.
Trixie’s Review:
Sara knows something is wrong with her boss’s security but she has no idea the security breech will get her up close and personal with not only Devon, a sexy coworker she has been eyeing or her equally scrumptious neighbor Rigg. What a delightful read this short story was. I love Tarah Scott’ and Kyann Waters and knew that together they would produce a story that wouldn’t disappoint.
Suspenseful from the first sentences, Double Bang! will leave you wishing there was more banging going on. Skeptical at first, Sara sets out to decide who is playing who in corporate espionage. What she didn’t count on was that both the guys she had the hots for would have them in return. A brief menage fulfilled her fantasy while a real relationship would make her world. Bad boy risk taker Rigg sets her on fire with just his looks while detailed delicious Devon yanks at her heart strings. For a fast paced read, Double Bang! has it all.

The Promise by Allyson Young
Publisher: Siren-Bookstrand Publishing

Ménage Amour: Erotic Consensual BDSM Ménage a Trois Romance, M/F/M, spanking, fisting, sex toys, HEA

Peter and Sean want far more than just sex with Jillian. They want her with them forever, and are determined to persuade her to keep the promise she made. A careless action, also made in the heat of passion, will take the final decision out of all of their hands and decide the future for them all.
Note: There is no sexual relationship or touching for titillation between or among the men.
A Siren Erotic Romance
Lace’s Review:
The Promise by Allyson Young was a hot BDSM with ultra-sexy scenes and a few tender moments. Unfortunately, that is where the book stopped for me.
The characters, Sean/Julia/Peter, work well together as a threesome and it’s obvious that their heart is in it, but truly that is all I got from them. Their character development faltered in regards to depth. I would have liked to know more about their backgrounds.
In addition, there were no secondary characters to aid in making the heroes and heroine roles more developed to help fill in the blank spots that I felt as I was reading. I would have also liked a strong plot. You get that there are feelings and sex, but I would had liked more than just sexy scenes because I think these characters have a lot more to offer.
While The Promise didn’t necessarily work for me, it doesn’t mean that it’s not an enjoyable book. If you enjoy a menage story that has wonderful sex scenes combined with several tender moments, then I recommend that you check Allyson Young’s The Promise.

Lost in Bliss by Sophie Oak
Series: Nights in Bliss, Colorado, Book #4
Publisher: Siren-Bookstrand
Genre: Erotic Contemporary, Menage, M/F/M
Length: 298 pages

Summary:
Laura Niles left her past behind. She fled Washington, DC, with her career in ruins and her love life decimated. In her desperate flight, she found a home in Bliss, Colorado.
For five years, Rafe Kincaid and Cameron Briggs have searched for the only woman they’ve ever loved. The FBI agents couldn’t share her before, and it tore them apart. Now they have tracked her down, and they want answers. Why did she run? Why did she hide? Why are there so many naked people in Bliss?
Laura is shocked when her former loves show up in her new home. And when they bring the full force of the FBI with them, Laura knows Bliss is in for a rough ride, because a killer has been watching and waiting for a second chance. And so have Rafe and Cam.
Lace’s Review:
Lost in Bliss by Sophie Oak is another hit by this marvelous author. I find myself waiting to see what Ms. Oak comes up with next. Cam, Laura and Rafe have their own spin on the little town of Bliss.
Cam may be a huge hot cowboy, but he’s one big ole teddy bear inside. He had me melting in my seat. He knows that the only woman he’s ever loved is hidden in Bliss. Now, all he had to do is talk this fiery woman into submitting, which is where the story gets interesting. Although Rafe is nothing to sneeze at in the looks department, he is a whole different beast. I found myself having a hard time liking him at first. His true FBI colors show in the beginning, but I am happy to say he turns into a different man.
Laura is quite an amazing heroine with her sauciness and kind heart. It’s easy to enjoy her character. Moreover, I enjoyed her and Wolf’s antics. Together, they are a trip. Laura’s own quirkiness helps her fit in the Bliss community. Unfortunately, as her past begins catching up to her, things are about to get interesting.
I caught myself laughing at Rafe and Cam as they stumbled through their first encounter with Laura, as she and Wolf pretended to be engaged. Bad Wolf! Now there is a man with a story. I am emotionally attached to the town of Bliss, Colorado and its town’s people. Sophie Oak gives us a quirky series that I will always hold dear.
The secondary characters are old and new. The town’s people kept me laughing with the turn of every page. When you combine their humor with a suspenseful plot that entails danger and a few shocker moments, you get a book that’s hard to put down and Sophie Oak’s Lost in Bliss definitely fits the bill in this category for me.

The Gathering is called. The spell is cast. There is no escaping the Midnight Matings.

Will Shea, Calin, and Dustin find a way to navigate the twisted path forced upon them by their leaders, or will they remain lost—and lose everything that could be?
A Siren Erotic Romance
Lace’s Review:
Two Fangs and a Hoof by Joyee Flynn is the fourth book in the Midnight Mating series, and I must say even though the other books in this series were great reads, so far this is my favorite.
You have three stunningly sexy men, along with some equally sexy bedroom actions. What more can you ask for, right? Even though there is a lot of love/hate going on these three make Two Fangs and a Hoof worth reading. I have to admit, I have never read a book with this premise. I have a hard time enjoying POV stories, but Ms. Flynn made this easy.
Shea, the herbivore shifter, is a power whore. Sorry, but it is true. I have a love/hate feeling for this character, he is unsure of his mates and how they became mated, but in the end he understands why they did what they did.
Calin and Dustin are two cute vamps. We don’t get too much on these two, but what we do makes me want to snuggle up with them. They did what they needed to in order to survive. Their hope is that Shea will accept it in the end and share in their love for one another.
There was not much in the way of supporting characters, but truly these three made such a strong story that there was no need. There is a touch of on the edge of your seat moments, which adds to the plus factor of this book.
The backdrop of Two Fangs and a Hoof was a different feel, but in a good way. Ms. Flynn sure did capture my attention and that’s saying something for a reviewer who doesn’t read much M/M stories.

Sinners on Tour Series, book #3 (reading order #5)
Featuring rhythm guitarist Trey Mills
READING ORDER:
Backstage Pass, Rock Hard, Hot Ticket, Eric’s Story, Double Time
He Craves Her Music and Passion
On the rebound from the tumult of his bisexual lifestyle, notoriously sexy rock guitarist Trey Mills falls for sizzling new female guitar sensation Reagan Elliot and is swept into the hot, heady romance he never dreamed possible.
She Can’t Get Enough of His Body
Ecstatic to be on tour learning the ropes with Trey’s band, The Sinners, Reagan finds she craves Trey as much as she craves being in the spotlight.
They Both Need More…
When Reagan’s ex, Ethan Connor, enters the scene, Trey’s secret desires come back to haunt him, and pleasure and passion are taken to a whole new level of dangerous desire.
Blackraven’s Review:
Passionate. Bad Boy. Loyal. Naughty. Open-Minded. Big Heart. Sexy. Senusal. There are so many words that come to my mind when I think of Trey Mills. The man is absolutley gorgeous and he makes no apologies for enjoying the pleasures of both men and women.
While Jace was the strong silent type who grabbed my attention, Trey was the naughty, bad boy rocker who stole my heart, made my body hot, and my heart swell with hope. Once you get to know this enigmatic man who has loved only one man for thirteen years, you will fall in love with him the same way that I did.
Trey has been in love with Brian Sinclair for as long as he can remember, but Brian is happy with Myrna now and unfortunately things change. While it broke my heart to watch Trey in pain and anguish over Brian’s new family, I was so happy when he realized that it was time to let go of the past. Ms. Cunning has incorporated so many poignant lessons in this story that you can’t help but be in awe. The primary one being that when you let go of the past, you open up yourself and your heart to new opportunites and a future that you never imagined in a million years, and that’s exactly what happens to Trey.
Although Trey is sex personified, he has a heart of gold that is also vulnerable. I loved the lively, touching family dynamics between him and his brother, Dare. It’s obvious that there is nothing in this world these two wouldn’t do for one another. Moreover, I loved that Dare accepted and loved Trey for who he truly was unconditionally. While Brian may view Trey as an irresponsible individual, he’s dead wrong and there were so many times that once again “Master Sinclair” disappointed me in his communication with Trey. To an extent, I found Brian selfish because he was never man-enough to be truly honest with Trey or himself about his feelings and that’s a shame because Trey is supposed to be his best friend. Instead, he chose to be an ass and in my opinion, that’s his loss.
Reagan is smart, sexy, adventurous, talented, and exactly what Trey needs. Their relationship sizzled from the very beginning and it was obvious that these two were going to take you on the pleasure ride of your life. Reagan has been hurt, which makes her vulnerable, especially to men who enjoy sleeping with other men, which made for an interesting twist as Trey’s secret becomes harder and harder to keep under wraps. Add in Reagan’s sexy roommate and former lover, Ethan, and things begin to get hot in the kitchen as well as in the bedroom. Will Reagan and Trey be able to work out their differences in order for both of them to truly find what they need?
Ethan is one hot alpha male. That’s the only way to describe him. He makes no apologies for being bi-sexual and knows exactly who he wants to spend the rest of his life with: Reagan and Trey. He’s fierce and protective of the people he loves and willingly puts aside his needs to make the two most important people in his life happy. But as the bedroom heats up and their emotions beome more vulnerable, something has to give. Will these three finally admit what’s obvious to everyone else before Reagan’s stalker does something drastic to ruin their Happily Ever After?
Olivia Cunning has crafted well-developed characters with so many dimensions that it will make your head spin. As you get to know each one of them on a more personal level, you can’t help but be in awe by their depth. The dialogue continues to be fresh and witty, the emotions raw, the drama high, the sex hot, and the complexity of each band member’s life more intriguing as they continue to balance being on the road and being there for their families. These are all real life situations that any reader will be able to relate to which is part of what makes these characters so genuine and full of life.
Narration:
Ms. O. Keef continues to be an amazing narrator with each story. The emotions and complexity of each character continues to shine through as her stellar voice portrays the band members we have grown to love. It’s obvious that Ms. O. Keef understands these enigmatic characters that Ms. Cunning has developed because in each audiobook these characters develop a life of their own that quickly draws you into their inner circle and never lets you go. The Sinners on Tour series in audiobooks is one of the best series that I’ve listened to this year.
Ms. Cunning excels at penning well-developed characters and an emotion-packed story infused with wit and humor. Double Time is provactive, luscious, seductive and quickly had me begging for more. I know that Trey’s book is the last book in the series and we still have to backtrack to Eric’s, but to be honest, I don’t know if it’ll be enough for me. Maybe Ms. Cunning would consider giving us an “Encore” story. Either way, I’ve enjoyed meeting this charismatic group of characters who have stolen my heart. Now for my bigger question: When do we get Dare’s story? I’m dying to know more about the members of Exodus End.

Shifting Snows by Brynn Paulin
Series: Phases Series, Book 12
Publisher: Resplendence Publishing
Genre: Paranormal, Erotic Romance, Menage
Length: 69 pages

Summary:
When photographer, Macy Lawson, climbs Mount Elbert to take pictures, she doesn’t expect to come face to face with a snow leopard, an animal that shouldn’t be roaming the Colorado Rockies, let alone the United States. The animal charges her, but Sorin Tavian appears out of nowhere to save her. He takes her home to escape a coming blizzard and introduces her to his partner, Danel and their friends Calin and Abel.
Soon, Macy discovers Sorin prefers to share his women with these men, and they all want her. Far from home and stranded in the wilderness, she decides to take the leap, live a fantasy and try out ménage.
But Sorin has a couple secrets he hasn’t shared. He didn’t save Macy from a snow leopard. He is the snow leopard. There’s a strong possibility Macy’s his mate, and if that’s true, home will be with him and Danel, not in some far off city where leopards can’t roam free.
Trixie’s Review:
From the moment Sorin pounced on Macy, I knew this was going to be one fun ride, I mean read. A snow leopard with a pack of equally hot brothers has to be the ultimate fantasy for any female stuck in the Colorado Rockies during a blizzard. Macy thought she was just going to take some pictures, she had no idea the photos that would be stuck in her mind when she had to return to reality. Would they be strong and vivid enough to keep her with the pack?
Brynn Paulin’s Shifting Snows is a captivating story of a shifter and his brothers love for a woman who was in the right place at the right time. Macy was a woman full of independence. Going off into the mountains alone told us that she was not afraid to search for what was out there. Shifting Snows was a fun story with characters who were equally entertaining.

Can she prove to Paul and David she is the woman they need? Can her men overcome their fears? And after so long of being alone will she finally belong to the Steer brothers?
Be Warned: menage sex (MFM), bondage, anal sex.
Trixie’s Review:
You don’t need to have read book 1 of this series to be able to follow along with Belonging to the Steer Brothers by Sam Crescent. Anna’s parents died and Paul and David took her in as their ward. As she began to grow, she realized she had fallen for them and left to prevent her heart from truly being crushed. All of the interactions between these three took place after she had reached adulthood.
The characters themselves have great attributes that aren’t fully developed but are clear enough that make you realize they should be together. While the characters have great chemistry and their lust for each other is palpable, there are some major issues with the book. I am not sure if these were corrected before it was released to the public, but my copy has severe grammatical, spelling, and context issues that prevent this from being a higher rated book. While the story line itself is not the problem, being able to follow along and understand what was going on at times was difficult to follow.

Can he prove her innocence and show her that they still belong together before he loses her for good?
Be Warned: anal sex, sex toys, menage sex, BDSM
Trixi’s Review:
The storyline and blurb of Betrayed by Alyssa Fox grabbed me from the beginning. An FBI agent’s wife returns after eight months to try and make amends while still running from the terror that caused her to leave in the first place. While this story has great sizzling sex scenes, including a hot menage one, the depth of the story left me lacking. The characters themselves have the potential to pull you within their pages to assist them as they try and resolve the issues that have destroyed their marriage.
Alex is a tough agent who tends to live his work at home. There never appeared to be a trust between his wife and him from the very onset. He likes to dominate in the bedroom and that is where their sparkle and chemistry is felt. Sexual tension is developed very well by Alyssa Fox as her characters demand fulfillment.
At times the transitioning from past to present was unclear and left me with many unanswered questions. The dialogue was at times questionable in terms of realism. I enjoyed the tense moments at the end of the story, but even part of those scenes appeared contrived and not very well thought out.
If you are looking for powerful sex scenes to entertain you, then Betrayed by Alyssa Fox is for you.

Scandalous Desire by Leah Brooke
Publisher: Siren-Bookstrand Publishing
Genre: Erotic Historical Romance, Menage, M/F/M, Bondage, Spanking, Voyeurism
Length: 268 pages

Summary:
[Siren Ménage Everlasting: Erotic Western Ménage a Trois Romance M/F/M, public exhibition, bondage, spanking, HEA]
Left with her uncle by her mother, Savannah Perry didn’t have an easy life. Overworked and emotionally scarred, she dreams of escape.
Meeting Wyatt Matlock and Hayes Hawkins, she falls under their spell, and in a night of passion, gives herself to them, never realizing that she’d been starving for love.
Ashamed and desperate for a new life, Savannah slips away from town and heads toward freedom. Before she can start a life somewhere else, though, she needs to make sure her friend is all right.
She heads to Desire, Oklahoma, a town her friend’s husbands have built, a town where people can live as they choose.
Wyatt and Hayes, though, aren’t about to let her get away. They follow her, protecting her, knowing they have to do whatever they can in order to keep her here with them forever.
A Siren Erotic Romance
Trixie’s Review:
When I first met Savannah, she wasn’t living in Desire, Oklahoma. She appeared at that time to be a good friend, obedient niece to an uncle who didn’t deserve her kindness, and a bit skittish of the prospect of two hot shot, sexy Rangers noticing her. In Scandalous Desire, Savannah is definitely all grown up and turned into a basket of nerves and desire by the very two men she was desperately trying to forget.
Dominant, determined, and demanding are just a few words that describe her two sexy men, Wyatt and Hayes. The city of Desire definitely invokes the true meaning of the word in this newly founded western town hell bent on providing a safe haven for men to love women the way they want. Err, should I say, a woman can love more than one man any way she wants. Due to the shortage of women in the West, Desire is catching on as a new place to settle. Only problem is, Savannah wasn’t planning on settling with Wyatt and Hayes. I loved how Leah Brooke had Savannah literally grow right before our eyes from a bratty girl into a woman who realizes her destiny.
Don’t expect modern attitudes, actions or allowances for a woman and her needs or wants. Scandalous Desire is set in the West and those sexy cowboys are all male in every aspect, right down to their thinking. Sizzling sexy cowboys light up these pages and will have you wishing you were living in Desire yourself.

Calling the Shots by Christine d’Abo
Series: Long Shots, Book 4
Publisher: Carina Press
Genre: Contemporary, Erotic Romance, M/M/F, M/M, BDSM, Menage a Trois
Length: 180 pages

This review copy was provided by the publisher through NetGalley.
Summary:
He’s had a wild ride, and now sex club owner Josh Scott is looking for a change of scene. But first, he’s determined to bring two friends together, and he’s willing to be a third wheel to move things along…
Beth Norris is eager to be set up with hot bartender Oliver Stephenson, but she’s equally attracted to matchmaker Josh. Soon she’s fantasizing about both men at once—and about being the one to call the shots in the encounter…
Ready to move on with his life post-divorce, Oliver is conflicted by the realization that he’s attracted to women and men. Or more specifically, to Beth and Josh. He tries to keep his distance, but it’s not long before the chemistry between the trio combusts in a night of mind-blowing sex.
In the light of day, it’s clear something deeper than desire is growing between Josh, Beth and Oliver. But though Josh has helped others find love in unconventional relationships, is he willing to take a chance on one himself?
Blackraven’s Review:
I love Ms. d’Abo’s Long Shots series and I’m so glad to finally find out more about Josh. I couldn’t help but wonder what would happen to him after his love triangle with Paul and Sadie in Double Shot and trust me when I say that Ms. d’Abo did not disappoint in Calling the Shots.
Josh has always been sexy to me, but to find out how he had been tortured and hurt over the years by someone who was supposed to have loved him unconditionally simply broke my heart. I was on my chair rooting for him to find his Happily Ever After with Beth and Oliver. Ms. d’Abo’s characterization of Josh is realistic, believable, and three-dimensional as she shows us a side of Josh that he has done a great job of hiding.
I was also excited to see Beth again, especially given what had happened to her in A shot in the Dark. Beth is intelligent, sexy, caring, and feisty, especially when it’s something or someone that she wants. But don’t be fooled, this heroine has been hurt by an uncaring, self-absorbed, self-involved asshole of a boyfriend and I wanted to pummel him for hurting her. But never fear, Beth has two sexy men who are more than willing to make her forget her ex.
Oliver is new to the series and I was intrigued by him the most. It’s obvious that he’d been tortured by his soon to be ex-wife who was a money grubbing biach that I wanted to b*tch slap. Sorry, but she really worked my last nerve. Fortunately, Oliver has found himself in love with two people who if he were honest with himself have the ability to calm his fears and make him whole. However, when the past collides with the present for our heroes and heroine in different forms and their love for one another is tested, will they give into the pressure and fear, or will they fight for what they all truly desire…unconditional love and acceptance?
Ms. d’Abo does a wonderful job with the secondary characters who provide more insight into the mindset of our primary characters. In addition, she increases the angst level and suspense by incorporating a stalker into the plot, which increased the depth and complexity of the story. I was engrossed from page one and found myself reading the entire story in one sitting. The dialogue is fluid, the setting is vivid, the lust is explosive, the fear is palpable, and the love is endearing and everlasting if our heroes and heroine will give each other a chance.
If you haven’t read Christine d’Abo’s Long Shots series, then you’re definitely missing out. Calling the Shots is a wonderful addition to this engaging series with mesmerizing characters, unbridled passion, and unrequited love. So pick up Calling the Shots and embrace your inner lust and uninhibited desires. You won’t be sorry.

Wolf Moon by Vic Winter
Publisher: Torquere Press
Genre: GLBT, M/M,M Erotic, Paranormal Romance, Menage a Trois
Length: 41 pages

Summary:
Adam has been waiting for the first full moon after he turned twenty-one since he was fifteen and realized he had the shifter mutation. He’s been hanging out with Jef and the Alpha’s pack, eager to be shift so he can finally be accepted and have a family and home.
When the night in question arrives, though, Adam’s in for a terrible surprise as he shifts into something most certainly not a wolf. Can ranger Chuck and eagle-shifter Tam convince him that he’s not only perfect just as he is, but doesn’t need wolf-shifters to find his home?
Barb Manning’s Review:
Wolf Moon by Vic Winter is an unusual shifter novella about Adam, a young man on the verge of adulthood and approaching his very first full-moon shift. Wolf Moon is a tale about the search for family and belonging. Mr. Winter’s main character, Adam, is a lonely young man who desperately wants to belong to the wolf pack he’s adopted.
Adam is sure he’s on the way to becoming part of a strong wolf pack until his very first shift. Shortly thereafter, Adam finds his life turned upside down when he shifts into an animal that is definitely not a wolf. The romance of Wolf Moon develops from two new people who enter Adam’s life on the night of his first shift and the discovery of his shifter animal. Ranger Chuck and Tam, an eagle shifter, enter Adam’s life in a pivotal moment and change its course.
Mr. Winter’s characters in Wolf Moon are interesting and clearly drawn. Adam evokes considerable sympathy in his search for friends and a family with whom he can belong. Chuck and Tam may be what he’s looking for if he can learn to accept himself.
Wolf Moon’s main characters Adam, Chuck and Tam have a strong sexual attraction uniting them and the sex scenes are spicy, but the real focus of this novella is the unity of family and friends. Chuck and Tam offer physical as well as emotional shelter to Adam. I liked this short novel and the vulnerability of Adam, as well as the unusual shifter behaviors and physiology.

Warning: This ebook contains material not suitable for readers under 18. It also contains scenes that some may find objectionable, including hockey violence, BDSM, ménage sex, bondage, anal sex, sex toys, multiple partners, woman love, and man love including, but not limited to an erotic shower scene. Readers are advised not to attempt reenacting the scene while reading the ebook.
Naunet’s Review:
“Breakaway” is a sudden change in possession of the puck that leaves an attacker one on one with the goal and this is exactly befitting of Bianca Sommerland’s latest book Breakaway. The knowledge of hockey and the delicious application of menage and the BDSM talents of a masterful Dom makes the reader hungry every moment in Breakaway. Ms. Sommerland’s love and devotion to the game of hockey and the titillating behaviors of her sexy characters produces another hot and saucy adult book that inundated readers with sizzling passion resembling a scorching griddle sprinkled with droplets of ice water. The frantic dance of the extreme heat and droplets connect the reader with the characters non-stop carnal action in Breakaway.
Breakaway is a well written, sophisticated story that contains all of the key elements I want in a book: believable storyline characters, settings, rising action, plot, climax (yum), and resolution. I was completely embroiled in this sinfully, delicious novel with its dusky mood. Breakaway is an erotic novel that seduces and pleasures the body, as well the psyche… what a great skillfully crafted, intoxicating experience for the very mature BDSM, menage reader.
Ms. Sommerland does an extraordinary job of conjuring up the high notes of excitement surrounding the Dartmouth Cobras Hockey and the team’s dynamics along with their relationships of the loves and lost loves in the evolution of this narrative. Ms. Sommerland’s ingenious use of colorful, elaborate dialogue and flamboyant settings and sensual play between characters is enough to generate plenty of time in the penalty box for providing over the top titilations for her readers. Breakaway reads great as a stand-alone but more fascinating if the reader has experienced Game Misconduct and Defensive Zone.
There is an abundance of freaky power plays throughout Breakaway with Sebastian, Luke, Jami, Scott and Chicklet at the club, and other locales, as they tote various erotic toys utilized to get Subs to respond appropriately. These elements are ever present bringing with it an intense atmosphere. The scenes developed by Ms. Sommerland are so steamy they manufacture unforgettable memories for the reader as they relate to the characters.
Ms. Sommerland focuses on developing her new characters in Breakaway, but incorporates the characters from her previous books: Silver, Delagdo, Landon, Dean, Scott, and Oriana from Game Misconduct and Defensive Zone as secondary and third tiered personalities; thereby, connecting Breakaway with a harmonious, sensual, smooth rhythm beating throughout the book.
Jami Richter, the main character, is a young woman on a mission of self-discovery learning to accept herself. She encounters a surge of oneness/ ownership when she steps further outside the quiet safe zones crossing the line into unexpected risky occurrences. Jami is strong enough not to “breakaway” from unchartered territory and run home to daddy. Jami desires to be accepted for the person she is not the individual others expect her to be. This level of maturity is rare for a twenty something hottie who wants to be an Ice Girl for the Dartmouth Hockey team. Jami often confides in her new friend Akira, one of the Ice Girls. As I read, I grew to love Jami and thought of her with a pet name: “Five Hole”. Jami truly loves misbehaving and being disciplined by Seb to the point that she willingly defies his commands and anxiously anticipates her punishments.
Sebastian Ramos is one of the Dartmouth Cobra Hockey team members whose role as the revered tough player by his team mates possesses an array of skills few man can pull off so smoothly. Seb can get any one at any time to do as he desires without reservations. Seb, in my opinion, has a bewitching persona that seems to put people at a severe disadvantage, rendering people almost paralyzed or spellbound by his magnetism. Of course, he has the body to die for and possesses qualities that make him a superior Dom. Seb is capable of delivering pain and pleasure to his partners tied up/down, blindfolded, spanked, shackled, bare or clothed.
Luke Carter is a wannabe Dom, a member of the Dartmouth Cobra team with a shattered images of himself. Luke is a talented, kind-hearted teammate who harbors many raw internal and external wounds. Luke is fighting some demons which Seb and Chicklet help him unravel and provides him with coping mechanisms to uplift his level of self-worth. He does not quite understand the control aspects required to be a caring Dom. Luke learns to be the student of Chicklet and Seb and as a willing student, Luke wants to feel the unbridled passion of the punishments he deserves.
Although there is an abundance of intimate poke-check/ stick-check that makes the reader quiver throughout Breakaway, Ms. Sommerland creatively encrusts a complex, triangular prism that caused me to have an epiphany about love, total trust, slavishness and devotion. Jami and Luke become very special Subs to Seb. In addition, Luke and Jami discover they share many common hidden personalities traits through Sebastian’s tutelage and this solidifies Seb, Jami and Luke’s relationship. Jami loves the freedom of be ing a slutty girl as she desires to please Seb. Jami and Luke share a commonality regarding being disobedient and desiring punishment without restraint from Seb or Chicklet. Moreover, Sebastian and Chicklet are known for making sure the punishments fit the crimes committed by their Subs.
In Breakaway, I felt my BDSM, menage maturity blossom as did Jami’s in her role as a Sub.
Each of Ms. Sommerland’s sexy, BDSM, menage novels grow with greater intensity than the last and Breakaway takes the reader to the Top Shelf of the pleasure/ pain chain. There are some unexpected twists in Breakaway that made me sigh in surprise. Hmm, in my opinion Ms. Sommerland is without a doubt the most outrageous, “Domme” around. Breakaway is a must read and one of Ms. Sommerland’s classic works.

A Siren Erotic Romance
Naunet’s Review:
Really is it possible to subdue a strong, willful woman? I think not! In the provocative tale Taming Tamara by erotic, paranormal novelist Beverly Rae, Tamara Westland is a determined, strong energy force shifter who knows what she wants and will not stop until she has achieved her goal.
Tamara Westland has been on her own since she was sixteen, alone without a guide to help her maneuver one of the most challenging segments of adolescence. Imagine having to cope with these issues in life without support. As you can imagine life was no bowl of cherries for a young girl on the streets who encountered experiences that would change her emotional and physical outlook on life. Ms. Louise, elder of the Walker Pack, finds Tamara and gives her an opportunity to join the Walker Pack.
Beverly Rae’s characterization of Tamara Westland is a picture of strength, and sexiness with auburn hair with a body built to fulfill the desires’ of any man without sacrificing her own needs. Tamara is quite the tease, often without meaning to come off that way. Jackson Walker, alpha of the Walker Pack, fights to tame Tamara since he feels that she is his mate.
The opening scenarios feature Tamara’s dreams focusing on her perfect specimen of an alpha mate with broad shoulders, a perfectly toned body built for sin, and dark hair with an highly intelligent persona. This delicious fantasy is of Nick Rogers, a shifter and alpha of the Night Runner werewolves pack. She infiltrates his dreams with her own and the desire between them becomes electrifying and irresistible destiny.
Ms. Rae incorporates characters into this highly erotic paranormal story who are easily believable, and accompanied with spicy dialogue full of energy that matches the events taking place throughout the novel.
I loved all the characters in Taming Tamara and the supportive cast were as strong s the leads: Nick, Tamara and Jackson. The members of their family and friends possess all the highly regarded components necessary to capture and maintain the readers involvement in this drama. These elements are ever present and holds the reader’s imagination and attention. I enveloped myself around the story of Tamara’s fantasy, her high-spirited attitude and her butt kicking tactics. I love a heroine that magnifies those qualities. Tamara is a woman who knows that talk is cheap; therefore, putting it into action is the only thing that counts. “Don’t let your mouth write a check your butt can’t cash”.
Tamara and many pack members of the Walker pack cannot picture Tamara as Jackson Walkers’ mate. Jackson is the alpha of the Walker pack and feels that he should exercise his rights to Tamara using the pack law as the basis for forcing Tamara into becoming his mate. His imposing demeanor does not blend with Tamara’s personality and everyone see this as problematic. Tamara is between a rock and a hard place because she desires to be Nick Rogers’ mate and he hers although it may go against the principles of pack law.
The carnal acts manifested early in Taming Tamara thanks to Ms. Rae’s skillfully created dreamscape is off the chain… OMG!!! Ms. Rae brings the fire and the smoldering embers of lust up close, leaving the reader fanning for a bit of relief from the heat generated through the dreamscapes. My fan’s motor barely kept up with the rising temperatures Ms. Rae’s smooth, pulsating beat blasts heavily from the first few chapters of Taming Tamara until the end. Let me offer a word of caution similar to those of erectile dysfunction commercials…if you have a weak heart for hot portrayals of lusty, intimate activities with multiple men and one woman, put this book down, walk away and call for emergency assistance from an erotic paranormal professional.
I found Ms. Rae’s terrific storyline adventurous. I related to her characters, their dialogue, and well developed, captivating settings. The multiple moments of tribulations of loss were deeply felt. The combat scenes between Tamara and other female werewolves were as exhilarating as the fight scenes between Jackson’s and Nick’s packs.
In Taming Tamara you will find all ranges of emotions: love, compassion, friendship, lust. humor, sorrow and a HEA.
If elements of a hot, steamy, action packed paranormal novel is what you are hungry for please don’t let Taming Tamara get past you. Taming Tamara is the fourth book in Ms. Rae’s Night Runner series, but it reads well as a stand-alone; which is how I read it. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I am sure you will also.
